Few articles from the ny daily news caught my attention this morning:
Fifteen more pieces of human remains – including a bone more than a foot long – were unearthed at Ground Zero yesterday after a new search for 9/11 victims kicked into high gear.
The discovery came as a source said he wasn’t surprised at the find – because the temporary road at the site was built on dirt scooped up from Ground Zero.
A crew working with forensic experts yesterday also found wallets, shoes and cash at previously unsearched manholes near West St., a team member told the Daily News.
The medical examiner’s office painstakingly sifted through debris using a mesh – a technique used on archeological digs.
“We have the best possible people working through the weekend on this effort,” said Deputy Mayor Ed Skyler. “It is being done with the greatest care and respect.”
The new hunt for 9/11 remains was prompted by the stunning discovery Thursday of more than 80 bones – some as large as 10 inches long. The number of remains found yesterday was confirmed by Ellen Borakove, spokeswoman for the city medical examiner, although she could not confirm the size of the bones.
Question is, why would they discover them now? Were they so incompetents that they needed 5 years to do it? Why haven’t they searched the area untill now? Well.. let’s not forget, Bush’s government is crossing a great crisys and depresseion, in about 2 years USA will have elections, and he needed somehow to remind the population that voted for him about the tragic events from 9/11.
Time for another song lyrics, today is Nizlopi’s JCB song. A very beautifull song about a 5 years old son and his father.
Well, I’m rumblin’ in this JCB
I’m 5 years old and my dad’s a giant sitting beside me
And the engine rattles my bum like berserk
While we’re singin’, ‘Don’t forget your shovel if you want to go to work’
My dad’s probably had a bloody hard day
But he’s been good fun and bubblin’ and jokin’ away
And the procession of cars stuck behind
Are gettin all impatient and angry, but we dont mind
An’ we’re holdin up the bypass
Oh
Me and my dad havin’ a top laugh
Oh woah
Sittin’ on the toolbox
Oh
And I’m so glad I’m not in school, boss
So glad I’m not in school
Oh no
And we pull over to let the cars pass
And pull off again, speedin’ by the summer green grass
And we’re like giants up here in our big yellow digger
Like zoids, or transformers, or maybe even bigger
And I wanna transform into a Tyrannosaurus Rex
And eat up all the bullies and the teachers and their pets
And I’ll tell all my mates, my dad’s B.A. Baracus
Only with a JCB and Bruce Lee’s nunchuckas
An’ we’re holdin up the bypass
Oh
Me and my dad havin’ a top laugh
Oh woah
Sittin’ on the toolbox
Oh
And I’m so glad I’m not in school, boss
So glad I’m not in school
And we’re holdin up the bypass
oh oh
Me and my dad havin’ a top laugh
oh woah
I’m sittin’ on the toolbox
oh oh
And I’m so glad I’m not in school boss
So glad I’m not in school
Said I’m Luke, I’m five, and my dad’s Bruce Lee
Drives me round in his JCB
I’m Luke, I’m five, and my dad’s Bruce Lee
Drives me round in his JCB
I’m Luke, I’m five, and my dad’s Bruce Lee
Drives me round in his JCB
I’m Luke, I’m five, and my dad’s Bruce Lee
Drives me round
And we’re holdin’ up the bypass
woah
Me and my dad havin a top laugh
oh woah
And I’m sittin on the toolbox
oh
And I’m so glad I’m not in school boss
So glad I’m not in school
Aw, said
I’m Luke, I’m five, and my dad’s Bruce Lee
Drives me round in his JCB
I’m Luke, I’m five, and my dad’s Bruce Lee
Drives me round in his
Aw, I’m Luke, I’m five, and my dad’s Bruce Lee
Drives me round in his JCB
I’m Luke, I’m five, and my dad’s Bruce Lee
Drives me round in his JCB
It’s been over 3 years since the war in Iraq started? Time flies not just when you’re having fun, huh?
So i was watching the news today (i very rarely get to turn the tv on) and saw a report about Iraq, about terrorists’ new “hobby”. Shooting american soldiers from distance. How is this possible you ask? It’s quite simple. 3 or 4 men – a driver, a sniper and a cameraman – are waiting for the american troops to patrol the area. As soon as they have them on target, the sniper takes one of them out while the cameraman takes it on tape. The driver starts the engine and they dissappear in the crowd. The tape is sent afterwards to a leader or probably appears on the internet. This is how everyday the number of american soldiers killed there grows by the day (over 2,000 souls untill now) and the government doesn’t do anything about it.
Things would be different if Bush would call his troops home.. nobody wants this war to continue.. not the american (or the alies) soldiers, not the middle easterns, but of course, W has to use all his armament so he can justify why so much money from USA’s Gross Domestic Product (8% that is) goes on the weaponry and military industry.
OMG! I’ve been looking for a loooooong time a game that would keep me awake on nights and it was very, extremely difficult to find one. I tried a few, such as Rome Total War, Hard Truck 18 Wheels of Steel, Need 4 Speed, Delta Force Extreme, etc etc. Today i finally found something beyond i was looking. The game is called area 51 and it’s a story-line shooter. Excelent graphics sounds and story, even Davin Duchovny helped with his voice. I got it today from a neighbour and after installing it was feeling my heart pumping. Beyond all the excitement thrills and shocks you have while playing it, i can say this is the best game i have ever played in the past 2 years (ps, i’m not a big gamer). Currently finished the first 3 or 4 missions (can’t remember). For more info, visit the official site @ http://area51-game.com/ .
Oh yeah, this is the first post from the Games category!
WASHINGTON – North Korea said it detonated a nuclear device underground early today, ending speculation over whether the Communist regime had indeed successfully built a weapon of mass destruction.
Though the White House said it could not yet confirm the test had actually occurred, a U.S. official told the Daily News early today that the test was the “real deal.”
North Korea said it conducted the nuclear test at 10:36 a.m. – 9:36 p.m. Eastern time yesterday in the U.S. The U.S. and other nations carefully studied seismic data and other intelligence to review whether the nuclear event had taken place.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported that it recorded a 4.2 magnitude “seismic event” in northeastern North Korea. The Colorado-based agency said it was unable to tell whether the event was the result of an atomic explosion or a natural earthquake. China, North Korea’s only ally, was the first superpower to condemn the nuclear test, calling it “brazen.” It demanded Pyongyang stop any action that could worsen the situation.
A South Korean expert said North Korea’s test was relatively small, equivalent to 550 tons of TNT. South Korea’s cabinet went into an emergency session.
The Chinese government reportedly got a heads up from North Korea 20 minutes before the test was conducted, and Beijing then passed the information to the U.S. and Russia.
“It marks a historic event,” North Korea’s state-run Central News Agency said in a statement. “It will contribute to defending the peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and in the area around it.”
The test was believed to have been conducted near Kilju city on North Korea’s northeast coast. Asian markets dropped sharply immediately after word spread that the North Koreans had exploded an atomic weapon.
This world is comming to an end soon.. there are so many problems on the globe yet the governments only invest in self defense tech. Are nukes really self-defense weapons? How the fuck can you defense the peace of your country by nukeing other people?
..or at least so it looks. After a great week, with no clouds on the sky, just a hot sun, the ugly fall weather seems to get back on the track. Well, it’s October, it should be this way but i was hoping to catch another warm weekend so i can go fishing with my friends. I’ll probably have to wait untill spring.. :-<
